Sunset Beach tower: all buzz, no buyers
Register real estate blogger Marilyn Kalfus notes that her feature on the Sunset Beach water tower home for sale has been an online favorite in 2008. There’s been plenty of reader buzz about the landmark tower, though no one has ponied up $4.5 million for the round house on stilts, which looms over Pacific Coast Highway between Seal Beach and Huntington Beach. Owned by a retired fire chief from South Pasadena, the three-bedroom, four-bath tower is listed as “an entertainer’s dream” and boasts 360-degree views from Catalina Island to the San Gabriel mountains.
