Long Beach named ‘Bike Friendly’

From the Press-Telegram: “Long Beach has been changing gears to make itself more bicycle friendly, and the hard pedaling hasn’t gone unnoticed. It’s one of 13 cities to be newly recognized as a Bike Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists, as were California cities Irvine and Santa Monica; Vail, Colo.; Philadelphia; and others from around the country.” Keep reading here.

Update: The city of Long Beach advises that Bike to Work Day is May 14. More at bikelongbeach.org.
