January’s Seal Beach bicycle bandit wanted in March Westminster bank robbery
Police asked for the public’s assistance today in identifying a suspect in two area bank robberies.
In January, the suspect allegedly robbed the Wachovia Bank at 13962 Seal Beach Blvd., where he “made threats while displaying a shiny object that appeared to be a weapon” and made a getaway on a bicycle with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
The same suspect robbed the Bank of America at 6791 Westminister Ave. in Westminster on March 6, according to Seal Beach Police Sgt. Bob Mullins.
The Seal Beach Police Department provided these photographs and requested anyone with information on the identity of the suspect to contact Seal Beach Detective G. Krogman, 562-799-4100, ext. 1108.
