Driver arrested after SB police chase
A motorist was arrested Friday on suspicion of being intoxicated after leading police on a five-minute pursuit to Long Beach and back, eventually becoming ensnared in traffic, the Orange County Register reports.
Seal Beach police apprehended the suspect, whose identity was not released, about 4:45 p.m. at Westminster and Seal Beach boulevards, said Seal Beach police Sgt. Steve Bowles.
“He got stuck in traffic and gave up,” Bowles said. “We took him out of the car without any incident.”
