Bob Eagle memorial details announced

Seal Beach City manager David Carmany writes to share details of the Bob Eagle memorial service scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Community Church. For information on parking, seating, special assistance and reception plans, click:

The memorial is at Grace Community Church at Eighth Street and Central Avenue. [directions]

Seating In addition to seating within the Fellowship Hall, extra seating will be provided in the Surfside Room (directional signs will be provided) where audio and visual links to the service will be provided. Some overflow seating/standing will be provided on the lawn with audio available for the service.

Parking Reserved parking for the service will be at the Eighth Street City lot and Eighth Street Beach lot, as well as the church side of Eighth Street along church property. Parking on church property is being reserved for family members. The “White Curb” area outside church is for your convenience for drop-off only.

Assistance Police Department volunteers and church staff (name tags will identify staff helpers) will be available to provide basic information.

Guest Books You will find guest books on the patio and later in the reception area.

Reception A reception will follow the service on the church lawn where food will be served.

It is with my deepest regret that I cannot make it to the service, but I sharing the day with my daughter and my family.

I know Bob’s wife will understand, for we all hang onto our loved ones for as long as we can in life.

With some grace in my heart, I extend a pray to Bob and all those who know and love him.
