Berm update: A trio of giant earthmovers rumbled along the sand on the south side of the Seal Beach Pier today, continuing work on the winter berm.

Beach watch, Part II: Jo Ann at Bogart’s CoffeeHouse spotted a school of dolphins feeding near the pier this morning. Check out her Twitter pic.

Seal Beach Leisure World hosts its annual Arts and Crafts Festival on Friday and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Clubhouse 2. Info.

Seal Beach Rec classes starting this month: Digital Photography, Tennis for kids and adults at Marina Park, Selling on eBay and Itsy Bitsy Football (ages 3 to 5). City website.

Seal Beach Holiday Parade: Nov. 15 is the deadline to turn in your group’s request to march in the Dec. 4 parade down Main Street. SBD.
