‘Band-Aid’ bandit strikes again
For the second time in a month the Wachovia Bank at 13962 Seal Beach Blvd. was robbed by the same suspect who wore Band-Aids on his earlobes, according to Seal Beach Police.
At around 2 p.m. today, the suspect gave a teller a note demanding money and stated that he was armed. The suspect was last seen exiting the front doors of the bank, according to Seal Beach Police Sgt. Steve Bowles. No weapon was seen. Officers searched the area but could not locate the robber.
Bowles described the as suspect as a white male, 30 to 35 years old, between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 10, 180 pounds, unshaven with trimmed short, brown hair and wearing a tan baseball hat, blue long sleeve jacket, blue t-shirt, blue jeans and “Band-Aids over the left earlobe.”
The prior robbery by the same suspect occurred on Oct. 13.
