Thanksgiving kickoff: Kids Save the Beach
On Wednesday, Save Our Beach, This is Me – A Kid’s First Keepsake Journal and just-spotted.com have joined forces to give a big thank you for our beautiful OC beaches with the first-ever Kids Save the Beach Family Beach Cleanup. As with all our Save Our Beach Cleanups, everything is provided (free parking passes, garbage bags, gloves, etc.). For extra holiday fun, the first 200 kids age 12 & under, will receive a coupon for a free meal at Ruby’s in Seal Beach. All kids over 12, will receive a coupon for a free slice of pizza at ZPizza. All adults will receive a coupon for a buy-one-get-one-free dinner at Finbars. All kids who help pick up trash will receive a raffle ticket for an opportunity to win prizes.
The event is Wednesday, November 25th 10 a.m. – noon at First Street Beach, corner of Ocean Avenue and First Street in Seal Beach.Read more about Wednesday’s big event at just-spotted.com.
This weekend’s monthly Save Our Beach cleanup had 653 participants and collected lots of food for Interval House. Thank you Kim and Steve!
