Holiday Lights: SB tree, Rossmoor contest
Chamber of Commerce President Seth Eaker writes to say that Seal Beach’s second annual tree-lighting event was “a resounding success.” More than 250 people gathered on Friday evening to enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and community. Local businesses donated food, trees and other holiday displays and Santa arrived via firetruck. The tree can be seen throughout the season at Eisenhower Park. It is lit with environmentally-friendly LED lights, he said.

Entry is free. Judges will visit the entries on December 13. Cash prizes are awarded to “stand out” homes, said event organizer Chris Marshall.
